Field Day Fun!

Thursday, April 28 was Kindergarten Field Day!

There were seven FUN events that lasted all afternoon!

Our first stop was football hockey!

Next, we headed to bean bag toss!

Then, we had fun at the water balloon toss!

The kids stood under the tree and I had the chance to soak them all!

After the water balloon toss, we had Sack Races!

It was harder than it looks!

The next event was one of our favorites…

Wet’n’Wild!

After all this fun on the HOT day, we all enjoyed a yummy Sno-Cone!

Our last event was limbo!  How low can you go??

Oh my goodness, this was a FUN, FUN, FUN day!

K2 wants to give a big THANK YOU to our wonderful PE Teacher, Mrs. Bale for all her hard work in putting together this wonderful afternoon!

Sight Word Egg Hunt!

Happy Easter!

To celebrate in Kindergarten, we had our annual Egg Hunt!

For the second year in a row, we had a ‘Sight Word” Egg Hunt!

Everyone had a limit of twelve eggs, each with a different sight word to find…

Once the right egg was found, it had to be crossed off the list!

This was a gorgeous morning, with tons of fun!!

How Many Feet??

This week, we have been working on measurement and length in math.

On Wednesday morning, we went outside to measure different things on our playground.

The kids had to measure the length of our sidewalk,

our picnic tables,

our slides,

and even our gazebo!

We had a fun morning practicing these new skills!
