After reading the book, “Ice Cream,” this week, we made our own ice cream in a baggie!
It was surprisingly simple and took only a few ingredients.
The hardest part was shaking the cold, cold bag!
The kids loved this experiment!
The ice cream was delicious!!!
Charlie gives it a thumbs up!
The mornings have been so beautiful!
Our Kindergarten Egg Hunt was a blast!! My camera died before we went outside, but I did snap a few class photos on my phone!
Oh, I love our Kindergarten Rodeo!
It is the best way to culminate our Social Studies unit on the great state of Texas!
Our cowboys and cowgirls came dressed in their finest attire!
K2 is full of good lookin’ buckaroos!
Our actual rodeo began with our flag carriers, leading us to our circle.
Once we were in place, we said the Pledge of Allegiance, the Texas Pledge,
sang a few Texas songs,
and performed the cutest version of the chicken dance you have ever seen!
For our Rodeo events, each cowboy and cowgirl competed in the barrel races…
…and the chuck wagon race!
It was such a Rootin’ Tootin’ good time!
