Field Day 2012 was a blast!
We started the morning with a Play Day at Cattail Park.
So. Much. Fun.
We broke out all the essential outside play toys and watched the kids use their imaginations. They did everything five and six year olds should…
They played hopscotch,
soccer,
and baseball.
They ran until they had no more energy,
showed off their gymnastic ability,
found bugs,
and enjoyed time just being kids!
We picnicked at the park also!
At 1:00, all of of Field Day Fun started…just in time for the heat of the day!
There were a lot of events…
Egg Race,
Water Balloon Toss,
Potato Sack Race,
Wet’n’Wild,
A chance to cool off and enjoy sno-cones
and Limbo!
Nathan and Charlie were our class’ limbo champs!
Field Day always symbolizes the end of the year. The hard work is behind us now. It is time to enjoy the rest of the year with the friends we have made!
