Holiday Party!

I don’t know who was worn out after our Holiday Party more – the kids or the teacher!

Either way, we all had a blast and thats all that matters!

They all worked so hard on their two songs and two poems!  I am always impressed with how quickly the memorize the words and hand motions!

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday!

Special Guest

One of my favorite parts of teaching is seeing my former students at school each day!  I love when they stop by my room to say hi, wave to me frantically in the cafeteria or (even better) come read to my class!

Today, Evan, came to read!  Evan was in my class last year.  He is Colleen’s older brother.

I was so proud of him!  He read two books to our whole class and they loved it!

SDC18040 SDC18041

I hope they want to come read for me next year!

SDC18042

Great job, Evan!  Thank you so so much!  Come back anytime!!!

Yummy Math

There are several activities we do throughout the year that I love and this is one of them!

 SDC18032

How often can you do great math assignments with delicious gingerbread man cookies??

SDC18033 SDC18035

Thanks to generous parents, we had plenty of gingerbread men to experiment with!

SDC18036 SDC18038

We all enjoyed the cookies, once the math project was over!

SDC18039

I love our class!
