Puppy of The Week – Joey!

Joey was an Awesome Puppy of The Week last week!  She is always eager to help me at any time so, being the ‘leader of the class’ was the perfect role for her!

Joey even has her own Libby at home!  So, this past weekend, she got to enjoy two Libby dogs and she was very excited about that!

Joey was very proud that she filled out her Puppy of The Week information all by herself!

  

When it was the class’ turn to ask questions, Joey chose very carefully.  She said she was making sure to call on the students who were sitting quietly and raising their hands.  (I don’t know where she heard that!)

Thanks, Joey, for doing such a great job for K2 last week!

Boy or Girl???

I have been blessed with such an awesome class!  They are just as excited about Baby Davis as I am, maybe more so!

Ever since I told them I was having a baby, they have been asking if it is a boy or a girl.

Last Wednesday, the kids wore pink, if they thought it was a girl or blue, if they thought I was having a boy.

 

They were asking me all morning what the answer was, but we had work to do first!

We graphed the class’ guesses and wrote all about the baby.

I finally told them that Baby Davis is a GIRL!  Even the boys were excited!

Now they are thinking of names and we welcome any suggestions!

This was a great day, that I will always remember!  Thanks, K2 for being a part of this exciting time!

We have another new friend!

Meet our newest K2 pup, Sam!

He just moved to The Woodlands from Pearland, Texas!

 

Sam sits at the green table with Evan, Maddie, Claire and Mark.  We are so glad to have him in our class!  Welcome to Galatas, Sam!

Puppy of The Week – Evan!

Evan was our Puppy of The Week last week!  Poor guy caught the awful stomach bug that went around school so, we shared his pictures and favorite items today!

Evan was very proud to show us all of his pictures!  He read his whole information sheet by himself and told us all about his family and friends!

 

Evan’s favorite book is from Star Wars in Concert!  There were a lot of excited boys and girls when Evan pulled this book out of the bag!  Everyone wanted to know more about the book!

Thanks for doing such a great job in K2, Evan!  You are Awesome!

My Favorite Present…

Friday, when we returned from Christmas break, everyone brought their favorite present from over the holidays!  This was a great activity!  The kids all answered three questions about the gift:        1. What it is?  2. Who gave it to you?  3. Why is it so cool? 

After our “show’n’tell” time, I let them have a few minutes to enjoy their toys together.

The girls really loved sharing their stuffed animals, dolls and Barbies!

 

Anything to make the day a bit different is always a hit!  We had a great time!

Meet our New Friend!

Rixt is our newest addition in K2!

She just moved here, with her family, from The Netherlands.  Rixt also has a sister in the 4th grade at Galatas.

Right now, she sits at our blue table next to Lillie and Joey.  They have been great buddies to Rixt these first few days!
