Boosterthon!

 

Boosterthon kicked off last Tuesday with an incredible Pep Rally!

 

The whole gym was dancing, clapping and fired up!

 

Last Wednesday – yesterday, the Boosterthon team came into our class each day to recognize students who got pledges!

 

This morning was our long awaited FUN RUN!!

 

We were all so excited!

I love events like this with my class!  We all had our eye black on and we were ready to run!

 

Wow!  Thank you to all parents who came out to cheer us on!

 

We all ran so hard and so fast!

 

Way to go, K2!!

 

Of course, we had to take some awesome group pictures~

 

Now, we are all wiped out!  It promises to be a quiet afternoon in K2!  Thanks to everyone who cheered on the runners, made pledges and supported Galatas through this event!

Thanksgiving Feast!

 

The K2 kids have been practicing hard for their Thanksgiving poems and stories!

 

We have spent several days creating our costumes, making them look just right!

 

Finally, it was time for our feast!

 

Everyone did a wonderful job!

 

Once again, I am so proud of K2! 

 

We had a great time at our feast!

Children’s Festival!

On Friday, November 11, all of Kindergarten took a field trip to the Children’s Festival at the Pavilion!

We saw Lucas Miller, the singing zoologist!

 

The kids danced and sang along with his funny stories and songs!

It was perfect weather and a nice change of pace!

As you can tell, K2 has fun no matter where we go or what we do!
