Today was a FABULOUS first day in K2!
I don't want to jinx anything here, but I never had a first day of Kindergarten go this smoothly!
We made it outside a few times for some individual and group pictures!
We are very lucky this year to have a pretty good split between boys and girls!
On our way to recess practice, Gracie was stopped by her sweet big brother!
Turns out, there are lots of rules on the Galatas playground. K2 was very patient to sit and listen to all of them before they went to play!
Morning recess is the BEST! It isn't too hot or too sunny and it gets some wiggles out for the rest of our day!
I LOVE how everyone is so quick to make friends with each other!
Mrs. Bale, our Gatatas PE teacher, was nice enough to use her planning time to take some class pictures for us!
We certainly have a good lookin' group!
Before the day was over, we had time for our first of many, many dance parties!
A question I ask all the kids on the first day of school...
What do you want to learn about in Kindergarten?
I can only hope I don't let some of them down!
