Lately, we have been lucky enough in K2 to have had some wonderful guest readers!
Grant’s older brother, Drew, turned in 20 ‘tickets’ to his fourth grade teacher so he could read to our class!
He read “The True Story of The Three Little Pigs” and did a great job!
Grant was so proud to have his big brother read to his friends! We would love for Drew to come back anytime!
Joey is a student of mine from last year. She has been working very hard reading all she can! Her teacher is so impressed with how well she can read, she wanted Joey to read to my Kindergarten class!
I cannot believe how much she has learned in just one year! I am so proud of Joey!
Thank you, to both of our fabulous readers! Please, please come back anytime you want!!
The Woodlands Firefighters were nice enough to bring a real fire truck to Galatas for our Kindergarten classes!
They explained to the kids all about a firefighter’s job,
showed them every part of the fire truck,
and answered all of their wonderful questions!
We wrote them thank you letters after their visit because we all loved it!
I LOVE Storybook Parade Day!
I love how excited everyone is and all the energy in the building!
We had some really great costumes this year!
All of the kindergarten teachers were characters from “Hey, Diddle, Diddle!” I was the little dog!
Thank you, to everyone who helped dress the kids in their wonderful costumes!! It was a GREAT morning!
Hana brought a new friend to school this week! After much debate and class discussions, we decided it would be in the best interest of the lizard (and Mrs. Davis) if we let our little friend go back into the wild.
We never could agree on a name for him/her. It was probably best not to get attached since Mrs. Lindsay does not allow pets at school.
The class decided the lizard needed a nice, warm nest before we let him out of the jar.
I’m sure he or she is much happier outside!
I know I am! :)
I am so proud of the kids when they fill our class fuzzy jar! They all work hard at doing their best everyday and I love to celebrate their good behavior with them!
Here are a few pictures from our most recent “Fuzzy Party,” Game Day!
Fall is here!
I just love fall weather! Finally, we can enjoy outside time and the beautiful weather!
Last week, Miss Bates and I organized a giant game of “Red Light, Green Light” and “Freeze Tag!”
It was a blast watching everyone run and play together!
I hope we have many more chances to escape and enjoy time together outdoors!
