Today started out with a measurement activity with partners! K2 loves partner work, it always seems to make the project more exciting!
Everyone had a ‘foot’ and a list of things outside to measure.
They measured the width of the sidewalks,
the height of the fence and
the length of the picnic tables.
It sure was a hot morning, but they had fun and did a great job!
This afternoon, my parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cigich, came to visit!
They brought hat costumes for everyone to act out the parts of the story!
It was so much fun! Thanks, mom and dad, for being such awesome parent readers today!
Before the day ended, we went on a bulletin board tour of the school. Each class had a specific theme for their bulletin board for Camp Week.
The kids brought their clip boards and write down any new interesting things they learned.
I was so proud of them and how well they behaved in the hallways!
They acted like ‘real first graders!’
We are loving Camp Galatas!
