We have been talking a lot about what first grade will be like. I told the kids they will have spelling tests in first grade! There was a lot of energy in our room on Tuesday so, we took things outside to practice our sight words. I read each word out loud and they all spelled the words on the concrete with chalk– just like a first grade test will be with pencil and paper!
I can’t believe these kids are ready to be FIRST GRADERS!! This has been the best year!
